This Friday is Christmas Jumper Day! Love it or hate it, it's a day introduced by the children's charity Save The Children UK. The whole idea behind the day is to wear your craziest, most embarrassing Christmas jumper in public to raise money for the charity.

Christmas Jumper Day first started in 2012 by Save The Children to help raise money for projects they fund to help children around the world build a better future. It is asked for a donation of at least £2 per person to take part in Christmas Jumper Day.

There are so many ways of getting involved with Christmas Jumper Day, you could take part in a Christmas Jumper Day quiz, go on a pub crawl, host a raffle or even combine your charity day with the annual Christmas party. Whatever you decide to do, make sure it's fun. Raising money for charity is supposed to be about having fun, not taken too seriously.
